Purpose and Philosophy of the FCSS/ParentLink Centre
The assumption that one's family is the most important influence in shaping an individual is the basis of the Family Centre's philosophy.
Love and support in one's family contributes greatly to each person's ability to function positively in society while reaching his/her potential.

Play time plus occasional guest speakers for an afternoon of connections for you and your baby!
Play time for parents and children; crafts, movement and experiences sure to excite everyone!
An interactive morning with learning through play, including a half hour of rhymes, singing and stories!
An hour of fun and calming learning experiences that use the senses!
A busy hour of movement and play to get active with your little one!
A transitional playtime for parents and little ones to explore and create through a variety of experiences relevant to being a toddler.
A casual get together with other moms to discuss topics relevant to being a new mom.
A monthly time; just for parents to share in learning, fun and connection while the children are cared for in another room. Parent Café topics vary from session to session!
Together with your child, create something delicious to eat together!
A morning out for Dad/Step-Dad/Grandpa/Etc. and his kid(s)! Come play, explore and experience special “dad” activities while enjoying a tasty snack! NO MOM’S ALLOWED!
Join us for a light meal and play time. Watch for special “Family Game Nights” and other special evening activities like ASQ Developmental Screenings!
Some of the most common parenting problems have very simple solutions – and now, the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program is here to share those solutions.
Triple P is a world-acclaimed program that gives parents skills to manage misbehavior and prevent problems from happening in the first place.
From toddler tantrums to bedtime dramas to outright disobedience, Triple P helps parents sort through the big and small issues of family life – and raise happier, confident and healthy children.
This program is to encourage family's to read together to their little ones!
There are prizes from numerous community partners to be won with each milestone reached!

Sign-out books (children's and adult), toys, puzzles and more at no fee. You may borrow up to 3 items at a time, for a 2 week duration.
