Regular public council meetings are held in the Edson Council Chambers at 7:30pm on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday's of each month, and at 1:30pm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday's of each month. The schedule is subject to change.

Greg Pasychny was born and raised in Edson, and works in the local business community. He serves on the Edson Volunteer Fire Department, Canadian Ski Patrol, and is a member of the Edson Kinsmen Club. Greg was first elected to Town Council in 2004 and in now into his fourth term as Mayor.
This is Trevor Bevin's first term on Council and he is very excited to be a part of the team and to work towards a better Edson. Trevor was born and raised in Edson and has over 42 years experience in the oilfield industry. He is also very involved in the community, serving as a director on the Boys and Girls Club, and being a part of groups such as the Chamber of Commerce and Business Support Network.
Brian is a Professional Engineer, and worked for 30 years in the resource industry, both domestic and international, before his retirement. He moved to Edson in 1982 and was elected to Council in 1995. He is married to Sonja with two children and three grandchildren.
Gean Chouinard was first elected to Council October 18th, 2010. Gean has lived in the Edson area for over 28 years and has been involved in the Edson business community for 25 years. Gean is married with 2 children and has 3 grandchildren. Besides spending time with his family, Gean also volunteers with the Edson Seniors Transportation Society and the Edson and District Caregiver Association.
Jim is a long time Edson residents and was first elected to Edson Town Council in a by-election in 2002. He also currently serves as President of the Edson and District Historical Society and is very involved in the Galloway Station Museum.
Tammy has been a resident of Edson for 28 years where she currently lives with her husband Ivan. Tammy has plenty of municipal experience and this is her second term on Council. Tammy is a director for the Edson Savings & Credit Union, volunteer with the Edson & District Boys & Girls Club, and has served on the Community Services Board. As a Councillor she hopes to encourage more public involvement through community engagement.
Having lived in Edson for 32 years, Janet has been active as a business owner, mother to 3 children and volunteered in many organizations such as: Edson Lioness Club, Girl Guides, Elizabeth Trapp Chapter of the O.E.S., and in 2006-07 headed the organization for the province. From 2000-2006 Janet served on the University of Alberta’s senate. Janet has been an active teacher for the last 20 years and Vice Principal for the last 10 and has served on various committees of the Alberta Teacher’s Society on a local and provincial level. As a teacher of teachers Janet volunteered in Ghana for two summers with the Canadian Teacher’s Federation and in Belize for three summers as part of a Rotary Project.
