Parkland Lodge Christmas Visit

The Edson Fire Department, Edson RCMP and Edson EMS are spreading some Christmas joy.

Recently the three groups held a joint Christmas party and each member was asked to bring a small gift. Rather than doing the usual gift exchange, these gifts were to be given to the residents of the Parkland Seniors Lodge.

“All three groups felt it was important to give back to the community and seniors are sometimes left out at this time of year.” says Edson Fire Chief Al Schram. “We wanted to show our appreciation to those residents. It was great to see the smiles on their faces today.”

Fire Chief Al Schram, Deputy Chief Tyler Robinson, RCMP Staff Sergeant Peter King, Constable Sarah Pennoyer and Constable RJ Wallace were able to deliver the gifts and spend some time with the residents on Monday afternoon.
