Bylaw 2176 - Amending the LUB Bylaw - (Fines)

The Town of Edson Land Use Bylaw advises what developments are permitted and/or discretionary in the various land use districts within the Town, along with the restrictions for development in each land use district, whether it be a shed, fence, deck, home, commercial building, etc.

Statutory Plan or Land Use Bylaw Amendment Application

Land Use designations (as shown on the Land Use District maps) can only be changed through a Land Use Bylaw Amendment. The passing of a Land Use Bylaw Amendment requires a public hearing and approval from Town Council and the proposed amendment must be consistent with the Municipal Development Plan and any applicable Area Structure Plan.
