The Community Engagement Action Team is a community based society which collectively share resources to promote a healthy, thriving and engaged community for the people of Edson and Yellowhead County through various initiatives and educational events that enhance the safety and well being of all. Our team will continue to lead initiatives such as random-acts-of-kindness week, radio ads during anti-bullying week and bring guest speakers to our community. We will be actively engaging residents at community events throughout the summer!

VISION: A healthy, thriving, engaged community.

Youth Nights

Join us on the first Thursday of every month from 7PM-9PM at the Edson Legion for a free space to spend time with your friends! Begins on June 1st.

Athletic Clothing Drive

Local schools are looking for athletic apparel for students to use during gym class. Whether these students do not have access to proper gym attire or simply forgot their changes of clothes at home, they are still expected to participate. Help us support these students by donating your new or gently used athletic apparel at the Edson Leisure Centre from May 29th through June 4th. We are mainly focused on finding pants, shorts, and shoes, but we are accepting all types of athletic apparel!

Can we stop and just BE KIND?
