Fun, light to moderate exercise with information to motivate and modify exercise habits. No experience required. Guided by a Certified Exercise Physiologist. Exercise has been shown to be safe and beneficial at all stages of the cancer journey. Exercising reduces fatigue, improves functionality, improves treatment completion rates, improves sleep quality, and reduces stress and anxiety. Please call 780-723-2131 to register.

Grief Recovery. This is an 8-session program with a purpose of providing those who have endured a loss, tools to assist in Grief Recovery.
Call 780-723-4403 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to register a table for your volunteer group/agency at the Volunteer Fair 2020. Registration deadline is March 23. Booking a table has no cost, and gives your group the opportunity to share information about what you do for the community as well as potentially gain new membership!
Information Sessions targeted at individuals aged 55 and up, but if a topic interests you feel free to come by.

Join other caregivers in a safe and supportive environment with those who understand the complexity of caring for someone every Friday afternoon from May 1-June 19, 2020.
Tickets available March 18, 2020 at Community Services inside the Civic Centre (605 50 Street) and at Galloway Station Museum. Tickets are $30 each, cash or cheque only (made out to “Town of Edson”).
The 3rd annual Mother-Son Soiree is happening on May 7th at the Galloway Station Museum. This event invites mothers and their sons to participate in an evening of dinner, dancing, balloon twisting and more. Come as you are or get fancy. Photos will be taken for each father-daughter pair.
Please let staff know about any dietary needs upon ticket purchase.
