Purpose and Philosophy of the FCSS/ParentLink Centre
The assumption that one's family is the most important influence in shaping an individual is the basis of the Family Centre's philosophy.
Love and support in one's family contributes greatly to each person's ability to function positively in society while reaching his/her potential.
The FCSS/ParentLink Family Centre provides programming and resources to support families with children 0-6 years of age. We are focused on the connections, strong relationships and development that parent-child interactions build.
Follow the lead of your children and sit and play at their level.
When difficulties between children arise, it is an opportunity for you to help them develop good social skills through problem-solving steps. ParentLink staff are happy to assist if you need help.
