Fire Restriction Lifted

The fire restriction has now been lifted for the Town of Edson.

The recent rainfall has helped reduce fire concerns in the region. The Province has also lifted their fire restriction in the Edson Forest Area.

While the fire risk has been reduced, it’s still important to be cautious when doing any type of burning. Permits are still required for any backyard fire pits, and it's important to keep fires to a manageable size.
