In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th, please be advised of the following schedule changes for Town of Edson facilities:
- Civic Centre – Closed September 30
- Protective Services Building – Closed September 30 (Emergency response is not impacted)
- Edson and District Leisure Centre – Closed September 30
- Griffiths Park Centre – Closed September 30
- Public Works Building – Closed September 30
- Edson Landfill – Closed September 30 (in line with regular schedule)
- Waste Collection – No Change
The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is an important time to reflect on the painful history of residential schools and to honour survivors, their families, and communities. The Town of Edson encourages all residents to take this opportunity to reflect and learn.
