To help better direct your calls and enhance service, the Town of Edson is moving to a new automated answering service at the Civic Centre.
The new system will route calls directly to the preferred department at the onset, rather than having to be transferred through our main switchboard. During regular office hours, callers will still be able to talk directly to administration staff.
This will allow us to better handle calls during times of high volume, and, ultimately, provide a better customer experience.
The new system is expected to be in place later this afternoon.
