Trans Mountain Pipeline MOU. Mayor Greg Pasychny and Trans Mountain’s Patrick Hanrahan signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding Trans Mountain Pipeline’s Community Benefit Projects in the area. The deal will see a $300,000 contribution from Trans Mountain toward funding the improvement and extension of 4 kilometers of trails and for the Hillendale Phase II Park Development.

Recycling Society Funding Request. Council authorized an increase in the 2015 budget for the purchase of the new bailer for the Edson and District Recycling Society up to $30,000 (Town Share of $19,500). This is contingent upon approval from Yellowhead County for their share. The cost of a new bailer had increased due to the Canada/US exchange rate.
