Edson's New Fire Chief

Edson's New Fire Chief

Posted on July 04th, 2017

A few changes are being made in Edson’s Protective Services Department.

Alan Schram is stepping away from his role as Edson’s Fire Chief to focus on his expanded role as Protective Services Director, which now encompasses the RCMP municipal staff, Community Peace Officers, Fire Service, 9-1-1 partnership, Photo Enforcement, and Disaster Services and planning.

With this change, Deputy Chief Tyler Robinson is being promoted to Edson’s Fire Chief position. Robinson brings a lot of experience to the role, having been with the Town of Edson in the Deputy role for the past nine years. He has over twenty years in the fire service in both municipal and industrial roles.

The Town of Edson would like to congratulate both Al Schram and Tyler Robinson on their new roles and responsibilities within our organization!
