July 3rd, 2019 - Just a couple more days to get your surveys in regarding the proposed Regional Multi-Use Facility! For or against, this is your chance to be heard.
Edson property owners should have received a card in the mail with an access code. If you have not, please contact the Town Office. The survey closes this Friday and can be found at www.edson.ca.
Project and survey details can be found at www.edson.ca/facility.
The Town of Edson is partnering with Yellowhead County on the development of a multi-use recreation facility. This facility development is the culmination of many years of planning as well as significant community consultation. While work is underway to plan and design the facility, Edson Town Council felt the need to formally gather the perspectives of residential and business property owners who pay municipal taxes.
You can participate by filling out the questionnaire by July 5, 2019. Please check your mail for a postcard with a unique code you can use to complete the questionnaire. Residents should start receiving the cards between June 13-18.
The responses you provide will illustrate the level of support for the facility and will inform Council as to their next steps as it relates to the project.
You will receive a code if you are:
- A residential property owner in the Town of Edson
- A business property owner in the Town of Edson
If you haven't received a survey code by June 24th, please contact the Town Office to get one. This will be cross-checked to ensure only one survey is completed per address.
***Please note - Owners of multiple residential properties should only receive one code. If you do receive more than one, please only fill out the survey once. Those that own a residential AND business property may fill out two surveys.
