A new Community Peace Officer (CPO) is joining the Town of Edson.
Mikaela Kuefler has been hired as a temporary Community Peace Officer to fill a position left vacant by an extended leave of another officer. Kuefler started her position in June and has been focusing on education and information of bylaw issues. At the June 20th, 2017 Council meeting she was officially appointed as a CPO for the Town of Edson, and can now add enforcement to her role.
Director of Protective Services Al Schram says they’re happy to have Mikaela join the department, adding she brings a wealth of knowledge and great attitude to the team.
