NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - Land Use Amendment (Recycling Depot)

Council has passed first reading of Bylaw 2260, amending the Land Use Bylaw by adding “Recycling Depot” as a discretionary use to C-1 (Retail Commercial District), C-2 (Service Commercial District), M-1B (Unserviced Light Industrial District). It would also be a permitted use in M-1A (Serviced Light industrial District), GSI-C (Glenwood Service Industrial Commercial District) and M-2 (Heavy Industrial District). PUBLIC HEARING
A Public Hearing has been set for August 17th, 2021 at 7pm. Those wishing to attend must do so virtually.

by mailing: Planning—Town of Edson, PO Box 6300, Edson AB T7E 1T7; or by hand delivering to the Civic Centre drop off box at the front door entrance.
Written submissions must be received by the Town prior to the Zoom Public Hearing for Councils consideration.
Any person, group, or person acting on behalf of anyone who claims to be affected by the proposed bylaw, may make representation during a Public Hearing through Zoom online. Oral presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit and any documentation must be sent ONE WEEK PRIOR to the Zoom Public Hearing.
Registration will remain open until the beginning of the Public Hearing on August 17, 2021 at 7:00 pm.
