Notice of Public Hearings - Bylaws 2263 & 2264

Sept 7th, 2021 - First reading was given to Bylaw 2263, amending the Land Use Bylaw to adjust how hotels and motels are listed in the various commercial zones. If approved, “Hotel” and “Motel” will be added as a discretionary use to the C-2 Service Commercial District in the Land Use Bylaw No. 2070.
Sept 7th, 2021 - First reading was given to Bylaw 2264, amending the Land Use Bylaw adjust for changes in billboard approval processes and management. If approved, Land Use Bylaw No. 2070 will be amended to remove the five year time limit on billboards and clarification regarding placement will be added.
Council will hold a Zoom Public Hearing to consider the amendments on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 7:00 pm through Zoom Meeting online

or by hand delivering to the Civic Centre drop off box at the front door entrance.
Submissions must be received by the Town prior to the Zoom Public Hearing for Councils consideration.
Any person, group, or person acting on behalf of anyone who claims to be affected by the proposed bylaw, may make representation during a Public Hearing through Zoom online. Presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit and must be sent ONE WEEK PRIOR to the Zoom Public Hearing.
Registration will remain open until the beginning of the Public Hearing on October 5, 2021 at 7:00 pm.
