The non-essential water services, closed for the last couple of days, have been reopened in Edson. The Spray Park, Bulk Water Station, and Sani-Dump had been shut down briefly to help replenish the water reservoirs following a couple of major fire incidents in the area and very dry week. The shut downs were a precaution to ensure adequate water supply to maintain essential services in the event of further emergencies.
As the summer continues the Town of Edson encourages residents to keep conservation in mind, especially during dry spells. This includes following our odd and even watering system and reducing water waste whenever possible.
