Meet Your Local Heroes: Bottle Drive Fundraiser
Location: 223 55 Street, Edson AB T7E 1L5
Join Edson Enforcement Services and the Daycare Society of Edson for a bottle drive fundraiser at the Galloway Station Museum parking lot.
Emergency service personnel from Peace Officers, RCMP, Fire Department, Alberta Health Services, and Fish & Wildlife will be on-site for vehicle tours and public interaction.
Daycare staff will be collecting bottles, cans, and donations. There will also be a kids’ prize table and a 50/50 draw. All proceeds support the Daycare Society of Edson.
Fundraiser and BBQ
Location: 623-50 Street, Edson
Join us on Thursday, August 28, for Holy Trinity Church’s Yard Sale (11-2) along with Kate’s Kitchen free BBQ (11:30-1). Be sure to enjoy a refreshing drink at Gabby’s Big Heart Lemonade Stand in support of the Stollery Children’s Hospital!
Wop May & Alberta Day
Location: RCMP Centennial Park and Galloway Station Museum 223-55 street, Edson, AB
A great day of old-timey fun, complete with food trucks, classic carnival games, live music with Remastered Band from Hinton, pie eating contests, balloon twister, bounce castles, and much more! The event is FREE to attend.

Edson Business-booster and Fundraiser
Location: Best Western High Road Inn - Heatherwood Room and parking lot
This is a market-style event to promote Edson-local businesses. There will be local vendors selling goods, local food trucks, and door prizes donated by local companies/home-based businesses. We will also be raising funds for Edson-only charities and foundations. Come stop by to shop, eat, donate and help our community grow!
Edson Terry Fox Run
Location: Edson & District Leisure Centre (Hospitality Room)
The annual Terry Fox Run has become a fall tradition in Canada, with more than 650 communities, big and small, urban and rural, English and French, fundraising for cancer research. On September 14 join us in Edson! Everyone is welcome! Walk, Ride or Run a 5km route or a distance of your choice! Registration starts at 12:30pm Run starts are 1pm Register at www.terryfox.org

We're excited to announce that it's time for our annual bottle drive to support the Edson Orcas, our fantastic swim club! We would be incredibly grateful for any contributions you're able to make. Your support helps our swimmers achieve their goals. We will have trailers in the parking lot for bottle drop off as needed during the bottle drive. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
