Online Auction- Library Furniture Fundraiser

The Town of Edson Library Board is hosting a silent auction in support of the library's furniture fundraising drive. 100% of the proceeds will go towards purchasing new furniture, shelving, and equipment for our renovated space.

Forest Operations, Open House
Location: Repsol Place Recreation Center
FREE TREE SEEDLING! Engage with Forest Industry Staff, to review our 2024/25 Annual Operating Plan. Staff will be present to discuss: Harvesting Plans; Road development, operations, log haul. Silviculture Plans; Stand tending, Herbicide, Sheep. General Planning, current and long term. While you're there pick-up a free tree seedling!
Renaissance Faire Casting Call 7-9pm
Location: Griffiths Park Centre (5414 - 6th ave - south of Vanier Elementary School - Formerly Edson Boys & Girls Club)
No need for preparation - we will have readings for you. If you'd like to play a specific character that you already have a costume for, please wear it to the casting call.

Family Sock Hop 1950's Dance

Get ready to twist and shout at our Family Sock Hop event! Grab your poodle skirts and leather jackets because we are throwing it back to the '50s. Enjoy a night of dancing, games, snacks, and nostalgic fun for the whole family. Don't forget your dancing shoes - we'll be grooving to classic tunes all night long and Amy Wesolowsky will even teach us some dance moves. So bring your loved ones and let's make some unforgettable memories together!

Eddie's Big Run
Join us for our 15th Annual Eddie's Big Run, highlighting Edson's trail system. The event includes a Kid's Fun Run (1 km), 3 Km, 5Km, and a 10 km run/walk! All followed by post race refreshments and awards ceremony. The event is held at the Leisure Centre (1021-49st).
Registration can be done online using Activenet (access through the Town of Edson website, credit card only) or in person at the Leisure Centre (cash/debit only). Registration closes June 16th.
Shandy’s Dream for a Cure
Location: RCMP Centennial Park
This is a BBQ fundraiser created in memory of my daughter Shandy who passed away from a brain tumour All proceeds will be donated to fund Paediatric Brain Cancer Research
