Casting Call May 2nd!
In an era marked by the flourish of culture and the valor of chivalry, it is with a heart brimming with anticipation and respect that we, the council to the Edson Renaissance Faire, do extend unto thee an invitation most honorable. As we seek to breathe life into the pages of history, transforming the mundane into the magical, we find ourselves in need of the unique talents and spirited enthusiasm that you may provide.
Our fair township prepares to step back in time, to an age where the arts flourished and storytelling was the very essence of society. From the 27th to the 28th of July, we aim to recreate the splendor of the Renaissance era, a period renowned for its artistic and cultural reawakening. It is in this spirit that we humbly invite thee to don the mantle of bards, minstrels, or actors, to portray the vibrant lives of medieval Town Criers, puppeteers, magical quest keepers, court jesters, and insulters.
Your participation will not only bring great joy and authenticity to our Faire but will also serve as a splendid opportunity for the young artists and actors under your guidance to showcase their talents, immerse themselves in a rich historical setting, and learn the arts of performance in a manner most engaging and educational.
In gratitude for your contribution and to ensure the comfort of your volunteers, we are pleased to offer complimentary admission to all participating members, alongside sustenance in the form of food and refreshments throughout the duration of the Faire. It is our hope that this experience will not only be a memorable adventure but also a rewarding venture into the heart of our shared heritage.

There shall be a casting call held on the 2nd of May at the court of Griffiths Park Centre (5414 – 6th ave) at the hour of seven in the eve. No preparation is required though it is requested that, should they have their own regalia, thine subjects don their most spectacular costumes for the council’s perusal.
