The Town of Edson has one of the best and most well known recycling programs in the Province. It's something the community prides itself on. The newly expanded Depot is a dropoff point for a wide range of materials and also holds a "Toxic Roundup" twice a year for items that may not normally be accepted.
Utility Charge
In the interest of transparency, the Town of Edson now includes the cost of recycling on all utility bills.
This fee was previously covered through taxation, but moved to utility bills to show the true cost of recycling as a utility of the Town of Edson. This includes the cost to property owners for the Town of Edson’s contribution towards the operation of the Edson and District Recycle Depot and related programming.

Take it or Leave it
-Pickup: Wednesdays from 10:00-6:00, and Saturdays from 10:00-4:30.
-Drop off: Monday-Saturday from 9:00-4:30 located at the main Recycling Depot.
