6th Avenue Closure to Complete Repairs

Effective May 6th, 2024, 6th Avenue will undergo construction work to complete the repairs initiated during late summer of 2023 to address damages caused by flooding. This construction will encompass the asphalt and sidewalk, spanning from the intersection of 48th Street to the east of Wase Creek (west of 47th Street).

For the duration of the repair work, the affected section of 6th Avenue will be closed to all traffic. This closure is expected to last until the end of May, contingent upon weather conditions.
