Welcome back to Willmore Park

The Willmore Park day use area, main campground, and select trails have reopened seasonally following the 2023 wildfires.

Although some bike/hiking trails remain closed as crews continue reclamation work, there are still many safe trails ready for visitors. Please see the attached trail information, watch for additional signage throughout Willmore Park, and stay out of restricted work areas.

Unfortunately, the overflow campground was destroyed by the fire. Please stay away from the overflow area.

We encourage everyone to use the facility, but also ask that you remain aware of dangers. Park use is at your own risk, please recreate safely.

Our 15.8 km loop trail system is excellent for short walks, longer hikes or mountain biking. When including the Crown Land trails, there are close to 25km of connected trails.

The trails offer a nice mix of rolling terrain, short uphills and intermediate downhills through old growth mixed-wood forest along the McLeod River.

The Edson Bike Skills Park is a free, fun, and safe place for people to learn, practice and hone their cycling skills. This bike skills park contains a variety of natural and man-made features such as jumps, rocks, logs, pumps tracks, ladder bridges, teeter totters, and a flow trail. Like a skateboard park is designed for skateboards, a bike skills park is designed for bikes.

Edson's Bike Skills Park is one of the largest in the province and we're extremely proud of the work that was done to make it a reality.

The Edson Bike Skills Park is free to use and open during park hours.
