Below is a current listing of candidates who have submitted their Notice of Intent to Run to the Returning Officer. This list will be continuously updated.
Per the Local Authorities Election Act, candidates intending to run for the 2025 election for the position of Mayor or Municipal Councillor must register their Notice of Intent with the Returning Officer before accepting campaign contributions or incurring campaign expenses.

To register, interested candidates may complete the Notice of Intent to Run form and submit it to the Returning Officer.
Please note: Candidates that register their Notice of Intent to Run are not exempt from submitting their official nomination forms with required signatories which will be accepted beginning January 1, 2025 through to Nomination Day on September 22, 2025.
