As we prepare to celebrate Canada Day on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, please be aware of the following facility closures and event details:
Facility Closures:

Civic Centre – Closed

Protective Services Building – Closed (Emergency response not impacted)

Griffiths Park Centre – Closed

Public Works Building – Closed

Edson Landfill – Closed

Waste Collection (Organics): No changes – regular Tuesday pickup remains in effect
Edson & District Leisure Centre
The Leisure Centre will be open with modified hours and programming:

Canada Day: The Town of Edson
Join us at RCMP Centennial Park starting at 1:00 PM for a fun-filled day of family-friendly entertainment, including:

Opening Ceremonies at 1:30 PM

Cupcakes, stilt walkers, balloon twisting, inflatables, food trucks

Artisan Market (hosted by the Edson & District Historical Society)

Performances by Amanda Panda and a magician

Fireworks at 11:15 PM – best viewing from Centennial Park!
