In anticipation of a challenging spring and summer of 2024, the Canadian Red Cross has dedicated itself to equipping individuals and communities with the tools they need to prepare for, respond to, and build resilience against future disasters. Through their Community Readiness and Response Program, they are providing comprehensive training and resources to enhance disaster preparedness.
Free Online Training and Resources
From now until the end of September, the Canadian Red Cross is offering a variety of free online training sessions and resources. With new training added each month, community members can continuously improve their preparedness skills.
Preparedness Webinars
Join their series of preparedness webinars, available from June through September, in both English and French. These webinars will help you develop critical skills and knowledge to stay safe during disasters and extreme weather.

Psychological First Aid (PFA) Online Modules
Enhance your ability to manage stress, trauma, and grief with our Psychological First Aid (PFA) online modules, available through a coupon system. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion. These modules focus on self-care and practical tools, empowering individuals to support themselves and others during crises.
