Anne Resek Swim for Life Award

The Town of Edson (Edson and District Leisure Centre Pool) has won the Lifesaving Society of Alberta Anne Resek Swim for Life Award for the 6th year in a row!
The Town of Edson’s pool staff have received this award each year since 2016 (with the exception of 2020 due to COVID).
This award is in recognition of the town who accumulated the highest point total for the Swim for Life program, serving a community of less than 15,000. That reflects that fact that the Town of Edson hosts the most swimming lessons for a community our size.
Congrats to the staff for this great accomplishment, and to the community for the interest in water safety. We look forward to the pool reopening and getting back in the water for lessons soon!
