B1 Project Update

Work on the B1 Construction project is well underway, with the contractor currently progressing through Phase 1. Steady efforts are being made on site, and despite the challenges, important groundwork continues to move forward.

This summer has brought more rainfall than usual, resulting in several days where construction could not proceed as planned. In addition to the rainy periods, further time has been required to allow the ground to dry and for water to be pumped out of the work areas. These factors have caused some unavoidable delays to the overall schedule.

We are actively working with the contractor to review timelines and develop an updated construction schedule that reflects these weather impacts. While our intention remains to complete Phase 2 as originally planned, the delays we have experienced may push this work into next year. At this stage, we are continuing to assess options and will share more detailed timelines once they are confirmed.
