Blanket Exercise

Members of Edson Town Council and some Town of Edson staff were honoured to be invited to participate in a blanket exercise this week at the Edson Friendship Centre.

Mayor Zahara, Councillor Baier, Councillor Taylor, and Councillor Pasychny, along with staff, took part in the ceremony which is designed to help build understanding about our shared history as Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada.

The Town of Edson would like to thank Frieda Maynard, Renay Woelfing, Kristie Gomuwka, and the Friendship Centre for the invitation and the learning experience for all that attended.
