Residents may notice smoke in the area west of Edson near Highway 16 and Range Road 180 over the coming days.
A permitted and monitored burn is underway on private property. The site has been properly prepared, and safety measures are in place, including 24/7 onsite supervision, water trucks, and heavy equipment. Burning may occur overnight depending on weather conditions.
This activity has been approved and is being conducted in accordance with safety protocols. We appreciate the public’s understanding and encourage residents to be aware of potential smoke in the area.
