Holiday Trailer Parking

Although the wildfire south of Edson is ‘Being Held’ at this time, we’re still asking residents to be prepared throughout the summer months.

Please stay informed by following the Alberta Wildfire updates and continue to be ready to leave if fire conditions change.

With that in mind, the Town of Edson has relaxed rules surrounding holiday trailers and street parking.

While the wildfire risk remains, disconnected trailers will be allowed to park along the street, as long as it’s done in a safe manner and doesn’t impede traffic on the roadway or sidewalk.

This is a temporary measure to ensure residents can be stay prepared throughout the summer if they don’t have a driveway or other means of trailer storage.
