Leisure Centre Update

The Edson and District Leisure Centre has reopened, however, ice programming remains cancelled until further notice.
An early morning ammonia leak on the ice side caused the initial closure. With staff now on site, and air quality cleared, the pool/lobby/hospitality room area has been reopened to the public. The ice side will remain closed until crews have a chance to inspect the ice plant and ensure everything is safe to resume plant operation and ice programming. We’re expecting more details this afternoon.
