Town of Edson Launches Positive Ticket Program to Recognize and Reward Youth
Posted on
The Town of Edson is proud to announce the official launch of the Positive Ticket Program, a new initiative designed to recognize and reward youth for positive actions that contribute to a safer, kinder, and more connected community.
Launching today, the program is a collaborative effort between Edson's Enforcement Services, RCMP, Edson Fire Department, local businesses, schools, and community partners.
Whether it’s volunteering, showing kindness, practicing safety, or demonstrating respect for the environment, Edson youth who display positive behaviours can now be “ticketed”—in the best way possible. Positive Tickets come with rewards like prize entries and vouchers from local businesses.
This initiative is about more than recognition. It’s about building strong relationships between young people and the enforcement professionals who serve the community. The Positive Ticket Program will run year-round and include seasonal campaigns and event-based activations.
By celebrating youth who are making a difference, we aim to encourage pride, responsibility, and connection across our community.
