2025 Edson TAB Bursary Recipients Announced

Posted on

The Town of Edson is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2025 Tuition Assistance Bursary Program, delivered in partnership with the University of Alberta and the Town of Drayton Valley.

This pilot program provides financial support to Edson residents pursuing post-secondary or vocational education. Each of the following recipients will receive a $1,000 bursary:

  • Kyla Drader
  • Charlee Par
  • Sanaya Saken
  • Raegan Drader
  • Deborah Yun
  • Alexander Hall
  • Kennedy Richardson
  • Dylan Pardy
  • Anne Napoles
  • Bauer Hierath

Applicants pursuing studies in trades and health care were given priority. Remaining bursaries were awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis to those who met the eligibility criteria.

Applications were first reviewed by the Town of Drayton Valley to ensure neutrality, then brought forward to an internal Town of Edson review committee for final selection.

All recipients have been contacted directly, and the Town of Drayton Valley will be processing and distributing the bursaries.

This program reflects the Town of Edson’s commitment to supporting lifelong learning and empowering residents to contribute to the continued growth and success of our community.

At this time, it is not known whether the program will continue next year. Updates will be shared with Council and the public if new information becomes available.
