Council has proudly proclaimed September 23-29, 2024, as Rail Safety Week! This week is dedicated to educating and informing our community about the importance of rail safety.
With 229 railway crossing and trespassing incidents in Canada resulting in 66 avoidable fatalities and 39 serious injuries last year, it's crucial to raise awareness.
By staying alert and obeying established laws, we can help prevent the tragedies caused by train-related incidents. Stay safe, Edson!
