Water Main Break

There is currently a water main break at 43rd street between 8th and 9th Avenue.

Due to the extreme cold temperatures, crews will be monitoring the break over weekend (ensuring the water is dechlorinated before entering our storm system).

Work is planned to start with excavation on Tuesday, December 27th.

Homes within the yellow marked area in the attached map will experience reduced water pressure as valves are currently throttled to reduce flow. This will allow us to keep water service functioning until the work can be completed safely.

On December 27th, residents can also expect traffic delays in that area while crews are on site. Work is expected to take about two days.
