Willmore Park Update

Please note that the bike park and all trails at Willmore Park are also currently closed as we continue to address the safety hazards in the area.
June 22, 2023
Willmore Park remains closed for safety reasons. Please stay away from the area. Willmore Park Road is also closed to the public at this time.
Willmore Park, including the overflow camping area, continues to be an active fire scene with crews and equipment in place.
It should be noted that any damaged trees from the fire are being removed from the area. Things will look a lot different once the work is complete. There was also some clear cutting that had to be done to fight the fire.
While we realize this will be disappointing news to many, it is a necessary step to ensure the safety of our visitors and to help in the re-growth of the forest area.
We’ll be providing updates as the work progresses.
