Willmore Park Update

There is logging equipment currently working on-site in Willmore Park to remove all trees in the overflow campground which were damaged by the wildfire, and ground crews continue to clean up damaged trails.

We are extremely grateful to Alberta Wildfire crews and Alberta Forestry who are working hard to complete this reclamation work and make the park and trails safe for visitors.

We know everyone is anxious to get back in the park, but it will remain closed until we can complete this important work and remove all hazards created by the wildfire.

We appreciate everyone’s patience. Please know, we are getting this work completed as quickly as we can.
