We’re excited to offer free firewood to Edson residents tomorrow! The firewood comes from downed trees collected from various locations around town. It’s a great opportunity to grab some wood for the winter, and we’re happy to give back to the community in this way.
Details:
Location: Randleman’s Yard – 63 St, first right after the tracks
Date: Friday, November 15, 2024
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Staff will be on-site to help direct traffic and ensure everything runs smoothly. Please be mindful and avoid overfilling your vehicle – this way, everyone has a chance to get some firewood. It’s first come, first served, so plan to arrive early!
Important reminders:
- Do not block the rail line or 2 Ave. In case of a lineup, please follow the traffic flow as directed by Town staff.
- Self-serve only: You’ll be responsible for loading your own firewood from the pile.
