High-Flow Fire Training May Cause Temporary Water Discoloration
Posted on
The Edson Fire Department has been conducting high-flow water training over the past few weeks. This training is essential for ensuring our firefighters are well-prepared to respond effectively in emergency situations.
During these exercises, large amounts of water are drawn from hydrants, which can sometimes disturb sediments in the water system. This may result in temporary discoloured water for some residents. While the water remains safe to use, we recommend running your cold water tap (preferably in a bathtub or sink) for a few minutes until it clears.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we complete this important training. If you have any concerns or notice prolonged discolouration, please contact the Town of Edson at 780-723-6461.
