Notice of Temporary Facility Closures – May 7, 2025

The Town of Edson is committed to fostering a strong safety culture for both our staff and the public. As part of that commitment, staff will participate in Safety Day on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, for a day of training and professional development.
To accommodate this event, some Town facilities will be temporarily closed. Please review the following schedule:
Temporary Facility Closures:
Closed at 11:00 AM

Protective Services Building (emergency response is not impacted)

Griffiths Park Centre

Public Works Building
Closed from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Edson & District Leisure Centre
Landfill – Adjusted Hours

Open from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Closed from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Reopens from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Wastewater Lagoon

Remains operational on an on-call basis.

All impacted facilities will resume regular hours on Thursday, May 8, 2025.
