Pool Programming Changes

There are a few changes to pool programming at the Edson and District Leisure Centre in the new year.
Lifeguard staffing challenges are making it necessary to reduce services temporarily. With the new schedule there will be a reduction in hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, specifically the morning and evening lane swim and morning public swim.
The Town of Edson is actively recruiting lifeguards and working on offering more courses to train residents to become lifeguards. If you are interested in becoming a lifeguard and want to find out what it takes, please email katieb@edson.ca or check out our website at www.edson.ca/lc.
It’s hoped that this is a temporary measure, and we can be fully staffed and back to regular hours in the near future.
