Pool Update

After some unforeseen delays during the bi-annual shut down, the pool at the Edson and District Leisure Centre (EDLC) is set to reopen next week.
The EDLC Pool will be open to the public on Friday, October 21st and schedules can be found at www.edson.ca/lc or picked up at the Leisure Centre.
Unfortunately, further issues were discovered with the hot tub and that will remain closed while the issues are corrected.
With the reopening, swim lessons will be starting up again as well. October private lesson registration will open on Wednesday, October 19th at 6pm, both online and in person. Group and private lesson registration for November will open Wednesday, October 26th at 6pm.
A new initiative will also launch October 17th. ‘Halloween Pool Passes’ will be sold at the EDLC. These are books of 10 swim passes for $10 that can be handed out for Halloween. These passes are good for ages 2-17.
Staff are looking forward to welcoming visitors back to the pool next week!
