Water Ban Lifted

The water ban is now lifted for the Town of Edson. The recent rain and reduced fire risk has allowed operations to resume as normal.

Crews will continue to monitor water levels and evaluate the risk throughout the summer months to ensure levels remain adequate for community use and fire emergencies.

Even with the ban lifted, the Town of Edson encourages everyone to keep water conservation in mind to ensure our reservoir levels remain high. This includes practices such as odd/even water schedules, installing water saving appliances, and maintaining a low water lawn. more tips are available at www.edson.ca/green.
