After Action Report for Information – Council adopted the 2023 Transitional Solutions Inc. (TSI) After Action Report for information on the 2023 wildfire evacuations to Hinton and Edmonton and the spring overland flooding evacuation. Representatives from TSI presented the report to the Council, highlighting the strengths, challenges, and areas that require significant improvement, which will help guide future decisions and improvements in the community.
Operating Budget Plan – Council approved March 21, 2024, as the Introduction to the 2024 Budget and April 23, 2024, as the final budget presentation.
Sign Relocation: Council approved the delegation of the decision-making authority to relocate an official sign within the direct control district.
RCMP Quarterly Report: Council accepted the RCMP Q3 Quarterly reports for information. The reports include crime statistics, a municipal community report, and a letter from S/Sgt Delisle.
Next meeting – The next Council Meeting is scheduled for February 20th, 2024, at 7:00 pm, in the Council Chambers.
