Temporary Road Closure on 6th Avenue

This section of the road will remain closed until Wednesday of next week. Repairs are taking longer than expected due to shallow utilities and weather conditions.

Due to ongoing construction, 6th Avenue in front of Griffiths Park is temporarily closed. We’re replacing two catch basins and tying them into the main line to improve drainage in the area.
The closure is expected to last for at least the next three days. We appreciate your patience during this important infrastructure upgrade and encourage everyone to plan alternate routes.
